Getting To Know Mona Edulesco
.......I love to wander from one city to the next, to discover new places and to revisit the old and then to express these emotional experiences in my paintings. My professional training as an Architect has allowed me to study in depth and to grasp the City subject with all of its complexity. In my urban landscapes I merge the experience of architectural drawing concepts with the freedom, the strength and the energy that Palette Knife Painting allows me to express in a world of tones and colourful hues.........

I've been astounded by Mona's palette knife skills for quite some time now, she's a true master of that tool. Combined with her unique, colorful vision there is no equal.

A very nice Commentary on a very special Artist, one the likes of we haven't seen for decades within her own style. :)

Mona is one of my favorite FAA artists!! She has some pastel still life pieces that are among my all-time favorite FAA images, and I also love her vibrant paintings done in her signature style with great texture! So glad you featured her, Abbie!!

Mona´s work is beautiful and so unique!
I was sad to see that the Getting to Know interviews went to a "Page Not Found" message, I loved to read them and I showed mine occasionally to people who were interested in details. Are you planning Abbie to make them work all again one by one?

Yes, I am going through them all reinstating them. It is just a time factor as to how long it takes. I did get offered some help but unfortunately they have not come through yet

Wonderful work by Mona. I just discovered her about a week ago and thought we was Ana Maria's daughter, but she told me they were step-sisters. Although their work is different, they both have the impasto technique and those wonderful bold colors. I love both of their works and glad I found her! :-) Maggie

@ Carla Parris: You are so nice, Carla and I'm so glad you picked this pastel of mine. I love it too. I realized it many years ago and I still remember my mood, the context and the feelings I had... I know, I am too sentimental. :)
