I was born in China.   Ever since I was a young child, I have loved to make art.   When I was in kindergarten, my drawing was selected for the Children’s Art Exhibition in the City Youth Palace.   After finishing high school, I naturally chose to enter the Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in graphic design.   I then worked in design until I left China for Europe in the early 1990s.I started figurative painting in Sweden, influenced by the Yunnan style from China.   I painted in vibrant colors using oil, watercolor, and gouache.   In 1997, I held my...more
