William Zwick is the founder of Zwick Art in Honolulu Hawaii.
I trained at the Florence Academy of Art, one of the most prestigious atelier programs in the world, (www.florenceacademyofart.com) for 3 years. I also had a teaching fellowship there and won 'Best painting of the Year' upon graduation.
I graduated from Laguna College of Art and Design, witha BFA and won best senior fine art piece at the annual “best of the best” school art show.
My style can best be described as classical representational figurative painting. I also do some plein air painting and am working to integrate the vibrant color and culture of Hawaii into my work.
In addition to selling the fine art reproductions you see here I also sell original pieces and artist refreshed and numbered reproductions. I teach paining and drawing workshops and provide private lessons.
I have had success selling portraits and other works in California and in Hawaii.
I am an avid surfer and stand up paddler. I first moved to Hawaii in 2001. I am eager to read any comments or feedback you might have about my work. Happy Viewing.
