...William Entrekin was born in Rome Georgia the son of mill workers.   As a youth the family moved from mill town to mill town as work came and went for his parents.   William had one brother Louis but often played alone and was very unhappy in school.   The two or three moves a year meant new schools and few friends.   This solitude was fertile ground for his imagination and creativity that later in life would pour out into his work.   He was often sick as a child and spent hours drawing and dreaming of becoming an artist. “When I look at a painting, I try to...more
