Whiteside Art Studios is owned and operated by James and Alexandra Whiteside, a husband-wife team who create artwork for both corporate and residential applications. Our art is available as originals on canvas, prints, or on merchandise. We produce a variety of art styles, including representational, abstract and surreal. The mediums we typically work in are oil, acrylic, and digitally manipulated photography.
James is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in Visual Communications and has worked as an artist for 30 years in many capacities, including toy design, movie set design, and historic restoration.
Alexandra has been a visual artist (painter and photographer) and designer for 28 years. She is an instructor at the Art Institute of Virginia Beach and co-owns Whiteside Interiors, a design-build firm, with her husband.
