I have been drawing and painting since I was a child. I majored in art in college and have studied at art centers, workshops and with other artists. My works have been exhibited in galleries on both coasts and are owned by collectors in the United States and abroad.I paint to capture a day, a place or time that I do not want to forget and I do use tons of photos I have shot to help me in my paintings. Landscapes

Most are watercolors since that is my favorite medium. As for the subjects -- when I see it (in the real world) I know I want to capture it. That's part of the creative process, in my case. Perhaps a bit of a curse. The images just haunt me until I do something about them. If done properly, including the use of professional papers and paints, watercolors can have a lifetime measured not just in years but in generations. In short, they'll outlast me -- and that brings about a sense of true satisfaction.
