Art is important to me, it lifts my spirit and heart. I makes me laugh and sometimes cry. Creation is beautiful and Photography is one of my favorite forms of creation. To capture that prefect moment while chasing the light is blissful. I am always composing and framing even when I don't have a camera in hand (which is rare).
I live on a rural property in the high desert area of Apple valley ca.. I have never been as happy as when I first saw my place and was able to buy it. My views go on forever and with the mountains of Big Bear behind me my world is good. It is quiet and peaceful here, tuning me in to nature and myself until the storms come. Then I light up with lightening and love storm clouds painting the sky.
This area is part of the 'Old West'. Buffalo Bill, Kit Carson and many other famous and infamous characters lived, loved, fought and colored this land. There is a wonderful hot springs, Deepcreak, close by and for a desert land there are numerous small springs rivers, lakes and waterfalls in the area.
It is wonderful to be a part of this community and I'm looking forward to sharing my art with you all.
