A long time ago, so my mum says, She tried very hard to make me pop out on new years day.   I missed it by a few hours.   However my parents didn't regret this momentous life changing event which began with my first cry.   As for me my life had just begun.   Like most kids in the UK I went school.   My first school was my village school.   The head teacher used to keep ducks and gave an egg away to the best behaved kid of the day.   Once I became the proud owner of the much coveted egg, I promptly sat on it to try to hatch...more
