Like many, the artist began painting and drawing at an early age.   His talents developed slowly over the years, which competed with many other interests during his youth.   After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Zoology and service in the US Peace Corps in South America, he began considering art as a profession in 1990.   The artist is largely self-taught, but has pursued training in a number of workshops, classes, and mentoring with established professional artists, including internationally-renowned French Impressionist Pierre Bittar.   He places much...more
