Southeast Alaska in all of it's moods, allowed me the space and lifestyle to leap on my dreams of doing art.   I chose oil painting for some instinctual reason and have never looked back.   I had the extraordinary luck to study initially under Jane Terzis at UAS and continue to explore the magic of painting in my studio at home.   I am pulled toward a particular image first by the contrast of lights and darks and inspired, secondly, by something I can't quite isolate in the meaning.   Please enjoy the ride as I continue to learn.   Seize your own...more
