Pamela June Perran-Gosnell is a visual artist based in Houston, where she grew up. A quiet and sensitive soul, she found her resting place and peaceful retreat in drawing and creating art. Her inspirations come at random moments, usually while driving or letting her mind float freely. She often uses elements of stairways, clocks, and checkerboard floors to convey the fleeting nature of time, space, and mankind’s attempt to form meaning in a fortuitous and chaotic world. A painter of many years, she has worked as a graphic designer and public school art teacher. She has exhibited in various spaces including UHCL, JoMar Visions, Heights Art Gallery, and ArtWalk. At present, she is studying portraiture and volunteers her art classes to special needs adults. Pamela loves animals, nature, and enjoys philosophy and contemplating the deeper meaning of life.
