I was born in Georgia, USA, but I grew up in Southern New Jersey.   I graduated from the York Academy of Arts with a graphic arts degree and that is how I made my living.   I never thought of photography as a way to make a living.   I am an amateur photographer who just loves to be out and about with his camera.   I was introduced to photography in college and loved the whole process of shooting, developing and printing in the darkroom.   I loved the magic of the darkroom, it was my escape room.   After college I didn't have access to a darkroom, so...more
