Terry Jorgensen is a professional fashion photographer with 24 years experience. His work has appeared in several major fashion magazines in the US. Terry started his love for photography back in the early 80's. Taking pictures of landscapes and sporting events. Then he was asked to photograph his cousin's wedding since they couldn't afford a 'pro' wedding photographer. Then another cousin asked him to shoot pictures of her wedding, and the career was started. When his interest in photography was just beginning, Terry would read any magazine, or book he could about photography. He subscribed to several different monthly photographic magazines. He became obsessed with learning anything and everything about photography. His passion for fashion photography started when he met an older gentleman at wedding he was shooting. This older gentleman turned out to be a very successful fashion photographer in Los Angeles, who took Terry under his wings so to speak and taught him about lighting and working in the fashion business. Terry explains why he loves fashion photography so much. 'Every fashion shoot takes on it's own energy. With music playing and the models running around, and the makeup artist doing the hair an makeup, and the wardrobe stylist doing her/his thing. And then the client. All of them being there, the shoot takes on a real energy of it's own that can be felt'.
