I have lived in the rural mountains of Southwest Virginia for most of my adult life and have loved the changing views of the Appalachian mountains throughout the seasons.   Nature abounds around me and I started out with a love of photography and made my living photographing people and their special moments for a few years.   I attended college at Virginia Intermont in Bristol Virginia to learn the basic skills of photography.   In the last ten years I have turned my attention to painting in watercolor and acrylics and find it to be a much more stimulating and satisfying, not to mention a stress...more
