Welcome! I am British and I live near Penzance, in the far west of beautiful Cornwall, England.
I photograph and write about whatever inspires and interests me in art, history, architecture, human culture and the natural world.
Here you will find some of the thousands of images I have captured over several decades. Most of my photographs were taken in Western Europe, although my archives (and future uploads) extend much further south and east, into Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey, Egypt, other Middle Eastern countries and Asia.
I also offer Fine Art America / pixels customers prints and products produced from my high definition scans of antique and historic engravings / etchings, and both original and printed works by other artists. These include antique wildlife and portrait engravings, historic archival monochrome photographs and charming childhood paintings and drawings by youngsters growing up in Victorian England.
My images are all covered by my worldwide copyright, but everything you see in my FAA / pixels shop can also be licensed for any legitimate purpose.
