I'm a gawker.   I notice things.   My subject matter is usually something very common, or scenery that is not necessarily very remarkable, yet, it holds something that I find fascinating.   Many times it is the moment at the cusp of change: the ever changing water surface, ripples, reflections, light effects that at that particular instant dazzle me, and then are gone.   For me, water has always been a metaphor for time.   A favourite subject in my paintings water, and its ever changing, ever moving nature, captivates me.   I studied Visual Art at York...more
