Photography for me is capturing the essence of life one moment at a time. I started photography sometime back in 2003 when I purchased by first film point-n-shoot camera. I ventured into the digital photography world when I purchased the Canon A400. It was the trip to Shimla (India) after my marriage that I realized that there was more to photography than I could imagine. Soon I got myself a Sony DSC H1 to have better control on my images. Being a Software Engineer by profession landed me in UK, where I wasted no time and bought a Canon EOS 400D DLR.
Started photography capturing travel images of various destinations around India and UK, which appeared in various travel and in-flight magazines
Currently I mostly shoot landscapes / long exposure photography. My Sigma 10-20mm wide-angle lens and the Cokin P (GND) filters are great companions on my outdoor shoots. A bit of Photoshop knowledge helps me enhance my work.
I consider myself an amateur in search of understanding the behaviour of light and let my shutter flutter.
