Suzanne started painting in 1991 at an art therapy class where she discovered that by painting on 30 by 60 inch food wrapping paper, she could open up and express herself in an artistic manner. As a social worker for the economically disadvantaged in the Detroit area for the last 32 years, Suzanne was usually the one helping others express themselves. Her current clients enjoy engaging with her and critiquing the artwork that she hangs monthly in her office. The intention of Suzanne's art is to help others reconnect with the wonder and divine creation of nature in ways that soothe and nourish the soul.
