Hi, I'm Susan Newcomb and I welcome you to my world of art.
Like many other creatives I have spent most of my life doing things I was good at, but not necessarily what made me happy. Becoming a stay-at-home mom changed the plan-o-gram for me. I started by exploring photography for something other than family pictures. You will find my photography here and you will notice that sometimes I break the rules and blur the reality a bit (a lot). I am not afraid of experimentation. Many times though, I let the beauty of what I see in the lens shine on its own.
In recent years I have branched out into drawing, painting, and mixed media, and I am pleased to be able to share these pieces with you. These art forms are where I allow myself the freedom to explore without getting hung up on perfection. These pieces are straight from the soul. You will find abstracts, whimsical characters, and experimentation with colors and media.
It is my hope that you'll enjoy my art and bring some of it into your special spaces.
