in search of beauty--a certain kind
of language that has never been written. And I earned my words with a needle
jabbed into the mainline of my soul,
because it was always
that elusive, rabid love

stabbed and searched life's wilderness for. The summer solstice of her eyes
wraps beauty around me like a quiet ritual,
