I fell in-love with photography at the annual Oklahoma City Arts Festival which is held on the week of my birthday, every year. I began collecting photographs by other artists as a birthday tradition, for myself. Several years later, during my divorce, I discovered that actually taking photographs channeled my negative energies and made me feel better, stronger and worthwhile.
My favorite subjects to shoot are guitars and cars although the perfect lighting can strike my fancy at anytime and I will shoot anything that looks beautiful in natural light. I love to play with effects, filters and angles, always striving for a perspective that hasn't been harnessed by someone else, yet. That is the challenge.
