Hi and welcome to our little corner of Fine Art America. Our names are Dave and Lynn Roberts, co-owners of Spencer Studios. Why the name Spencer? Dave’s father, Spencer Roberts, bought him a Canon A1 35-mm camera when he was fifteen years old and he has never looked back. For nearly 40 years Dave has loved photographing nature, family and more. He has always enjoyed tuning out the distractions of the world and mentally escaping from his stressful job with his camera.
In October 2014, after 30 years working in corporate America, Dave left his day job to pursue his real passion – photography. Now he is sharing the best of his photos with you. Dave’s fine art photography can be found on display in corporate offices and private homes.
Lynn is a relative newcomer to fine art photography, but after Dave bought her a DSLR camera, she found she couldn’t put it down. There is nothing she enjoys more than being out on a beautiful day photographing the beauty around her and hanging out with Dave.

Dave and Lynn also own a portrait and wedding photography studio in the Jacksonville area of Northeast Florida. Their local portraiture business serves Jacksonville, St John's county, St Augustine, Fernandina Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach, Vilano Beach, Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Middleburg, Yulee and other surrounding counties in northeast Florida and southeast Georgia.
