I have loved art since high school.   I took classes in high school and also some college courses in Florida and Kentucky.   I work in many mediums including oil, acrylic, colored pencils and pastels.   My favorite medium is colored pencil and I usually paint portraits as my main subject.   Pastels are a new medium for me and I have fallen in love with them due to the ease of laying down the color, no messy mixing, beautiful colors and easy clean up.   I worked in a frame shop in Tennessee as a picture framer for 7 years.   During that time, I was able...more
