I have always loved photography and started painting in 2000. My paintings usually come from the study of my photographs taken throughout our beloved United States as well as many islands bringing them to life on canvas. I am a realist painter. My artworks includes many different paintings, landscapes, seascapes, lighthouses, architecture, and portraits.
My works hang in the N.C. Department of Agriculture Office Building, Raleigh, NC, Jeffreys Grove Elementary School, Raleigh, NC, Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton, NC, Hospice, NC, NC State Wolfpack Club, Raleigh, NC and many states including N.C., S.C., Florida, Alabama, Maryland, Virginia and Oregon.
I juggle my painting with helping my husband in his business and parenting two daughters, two step-sons, two daughter'n'laws, two son'n'laws and nine grandchildren and two God-children.
We have recently moved to the Southport, NC area and are surrounded by water and such beauty! A perfect place for me to call home and paint the subjects that I most enjoy painting!
I have been blessed with a talent by God and a supportive husband and family. My desire is to share with others by bringing joy to people when they see my paintings.
