My artistic journey continues to unveil for me new ideals and ways to express myself.   What compels me to paint is quintessential New England.   I am facinated with our heritage in the creative architecture that depicts the character of each small town.   I love boats in the harbor too which speak of the spirit of the sea.   I paint the innovative way this generation relates to the past re-claiming antiques and enhancing fence posts with roses.   I paint back roads and open spaces and sunsets putting to canvas that which may never be seen quite the same way...more
