Surreal and impressionistic are words to describe the images I portray. I try to get the essence of shapes, lines and colors I see as I try to get out in the world.
I lost 130 pounds by eating delicious food and exercising intensely. I photograph the new life I got when turning from obese to thin in my early fifties. What is it like when no one recognizes you? What is it like when you don’t recognize yourself? What is it like to have opportunities and abilities you never dreamed of even as a child due to your poor health and obesity?
This is where we can both find the answers to those questions.
Photography saved me and got me out of the house in my new, thin body. Here; I present the best of 60 thousand photos from the three years since I became a new person. I seek and welcome your feedback.
