Born and raised in the dark depths of Finland, Sami is a self-taught artist whose work explores the juxtapositions of nature and man-made structures and the intersections of mind, body and soul through mixed media, digital paintings and photography.   The themes in Sami's work often raise questions about human existence and the dualistic nature of the human mind.   Drawing inspiration from his emotions and experiences, observations from his travels around the world, and realizations while sitting in silence and looking deep within.
