I am a photographic artist living in Silver Spring, MD. My interest in the art of photography goes back to my days in high school when I took photography classes and had use of the darkroom. A few years later I assembled my own darkroom and continued with my own film developing techniques. Mostly 35mm B&W. Then I started my photography business with shooting weddings, portraiture and of course my favorite being landscapes. In October of 1983 I had one of my images published on the cover of Carolina Country magazine in North Carolina. At the time I was very busy photographing weddings but with my video store business that I had begun a short time earlier I unfortunately could no longer find the time in my hectic schedule to continue with photography. Now at the present time since I no longer have my video store due to lack of business and demand I have re-entered into the photography field once again. Photography is indeed my true passion and I am moving forward with it in hopes of having some of my images published once again. To me cameras are a brush in creating and I love being behind the lens. Not only of sight but of sound and I often think of the great legendary Ansel Adams whose work I admire the most
