Edik Kaliyev Sergibaevich also known as Saccidananda Das, born in 1957 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
He started drawing at five years old. He trained in art for four years in NV Gogolya Art School in Almaty. He later on he graduated with honours of five years in Theatrical-Art Institute of Zhurgenov, faculty of monumental and decorative painting under tutelage of Professor K. Telizhanov, a famous public artist of the former USSR.
His paintings are themed around Lord Krishna's pastimes which are displayed in worldwide.
A large collection of his work can be found in Glory of India Museum in New Delhi and other collections in worldwide.
He paints for the books of Bhaktivedanta Book Trust and international magazine Back to Godhead.
