Graduating from Southampton Solent University in November,
My practise primarily involves Landscape, nature and fine art photography, with mainly Digital processes, some film depending on the project. I like to immerse myself in the landscape, whilst walking, exploring and revisiting new places, with the need to portray my own love for nature's beauty and our interaction with the environment.
I like to experiment with the everyday, creating new ways of seeing familiar and ‘ordinary’ objects through abstraction and unusual perspectives. I also see the use of the self-portrait as a tool for conceptually exploring my own identity or metaphorically someone else’s. This can be seen in my ideas around human existence within the natural landscape.
