As a photographer, I record reflected light from selected subjects. My interests lean toward nature related subjects, but I'm also drawn to many other subjects as well. I find particularly interesting those subjects that are commonplace or unattractive in their normal context, but when isolated with the camera can be appreciated for their inherent beauty or interest. I try not to develop a distinctive style, as I prefer no restrictions when I shoot. My work includes macro, floral, landscapes, abstracts, architecture, nature, and unusual interiors.
Recently I have included highly manipulated images that are included in my gallery 'Digital Art'. Most of these are also include in 'Prints for Apparel and Other Items' and are prepared as transparencies for printing on clothing and other items available on this website. These images are meant to be studies in line, form, and color, but may also evoke an emotion, memory, or something else.
