I am Roberto Tapia, a self-taught artist of mexican origin.   My work includes sketches and paintings in various mediums.   Mexican by birth and American by choice, I live in Houston Texas and appreciate its diverse cultures.   My art is influenced by my growing up in two very different places and the experiences that have shaped my life.   My favorite painters are Van Gogh, Monet, Munch, Klimt, Guillaumin, Gauguin, Emile Claus, and Tunis Ponsen.   I hope you enjoy my work.
