'Capturing Light By Our Creator'

Landscape photographer. Born in Los Angeles, CA in the 60's but brought to Oregon in the 1970's when my parents escaped from LA. Grew up in the small town of Bandon, Oregon near some of the most amazing sections of coastline in the USA. Started taking pictures as a boy and my parents encouraged me. They helped me buy a Pentax SLR, and later an Olympus SLR and a Vivitar Enlarger in high school. My parents eventually tired of the smell of developer, stop-bath, and fixer in the house (how many remember those smells?) and my dad taught me how to build as we constructed a separate darkroom building, complete with hot and cold running water. I spent a lot of time in that darkroom learning how to dodge and burn to get those black and white prints just so. I went off to college at the U of O and later received a degree in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University; but always had my cameras. After college I spent several decades living and working on the southern Oregon Coast. I spent a couple years living on the Florida coast but now reside back on the Oregon coast.

I use full-frame Canon camera bodies and 'L' lenses. I use Epson printers and ink at home to do signed originals for a few galleries and clients.

The Lord Jesus Christ is my life. We would not be able to do any of this without Him and I await His return. With the beauty in nature we see now, I can only imagine what it will be like when He restores all things! I am especially reminded of His eminent return in these current times of division and deception and greater public awakening to the enemy's plans. There is peace in the surety of God's sovereignty.

Thank you for your purchases and support!
