I have been a photographer for more than 30 years.   My initial introduction to photography led me into the tranquil yet stimulating world of the darkroom where I took classes with noted photographers to learn portrait, fine art black and white, infra-red, multiple exposure images, and hand-tinting.   In seeking a more tactile interaction, I now explore creating images thru painting in watercolors, pastels, oils, and encaustics, combining my photography experience and vision with my painting skills as a starting point and open inspiration for a more creative and individual outcome.   I may choose...more
