I am a post-graduate in Fine Arts from M S University, India and more recently took a post-graduate course in Indian Aesthetics - Art History from Jnanapravaha - Mumbai, a para-academic institute committed to inter-disciplinary arts education, the humanities and social sciences; followed by a course in Buddhist Art and Architecture. Over the past 15 years, I've exhibited my paintings locally and internationally. The imagery in my work draws inspiration from diverse sources: nature - the quintessential macrocosm lends metaphorically to my drawings and paintings, literature, mythology and the realm of the imagination. My preferred mediums are acrylic on canvas, pen and ink on paper, pastels and acrylics on board and oil on canvas. Since 2007, I've worked in art education. Designed and facilitated art workshops for various age groups and designed and facilitated an immersive art mentoring learning program combining theory and practice. Besides my fine art practice, in the past I've worked with NGOs and a cross-disciplinary media research centre.
