Art is frustrating, obsessive, compelling, aggravating, consuming, involving, cathartic, communicative, joy. It can be the telling of a story previously untold, an idea previously unexpressed, an emotion presented to the viewer to feel.
Phil Welsher holds a degree in Fine Arts from Syracuse University and awards from national and international exhibitions. Working to communicate, and sometimes comment on, the world around him through his approach to the usage of media, imagery and composition. The juxtaposed images are placed in these pieces to create a juxtaposition of thought in the mind of the viewer in response.
The goal of each piece is to successfully convey the overarching sense of humanity, empathy and compassion with which the artwork was done. This is artwork that will turn your wall into a point of conversation.
Many of the original pieces may be purchased from the artist, commissions discussed or, you can ask a question or leave a comment by getting in touch with the artist by e-mail at email@example.com
