Pera obtained a MA in Graphic Design and a MA in Photography in Aachen, Germany, before immegrating to South Africa.   She worked as graphic designer with architects, as art director in the film industry and later as interior designer for many years.   In 2005 she started to paint in oil - experiencing intense pleasure and joy from playing with color.   Pera draws her inspiration from nature and approaches her art with a perfect eye for detail.   Her work is strong, full of color and blooms with vibrant life.
