My art reflect my experiences, encounters and perception of those around me.   Subjects are those that stick with me for one reason or another.   Creating art allows me to slow down, focus and notice the world around me.   I try to identify and capture the qualities of the subject or experience that make it memorable to me and share those special moments with the viewer, whether it is light and color, the energy and emotion of musicians, or solitude and life challenges.   My style varies somewhat as I allow my perception of the subject to dictate the process.   Some...more
