Pamela Parsons' beachscapes capture the colorful coastal regions of the Northeastern United States. Inspiration comes from the rhythm and wild beauty of the dunes, marshes, ocean and beaches of the Jersey Shore, Cape Ann, Cape Cod and the coast of Maine. Current materials include the palette knife, oil paint, and square format cradled birch panels.
Pamela Parsons is a primarily self taught painter working in her home studio in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Pamela is known for her intuitive use of color and expressive impressionist style. Pamela's paintings range from impressionism to expressionism in style. Her abstract works explore the concepts of balance and rhythm in line, shape, color, relationships and connections. Historical influences include the Pennsylvania Impressionists, and the abstract expressionist action painters of the New York School.
Collections: Pamela's work is included in public and private collections throughout the United States.
