I was born in the UK where I used to be a teacher, but I am now retired and very lucky to be living in beautiful North Cyprus, in the middle of the blue Mediterranian Sea.   I moved to the TRNC, which is the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus, in 2006 and have never regretted making that move.   It is stunningly beautiful and I can indulge my passion for painting, inspired by the things I see around me on the island of Aphrodite.   I am a self taught artist, I have been drawing and painting since I was a small child.   The mediums I use mostly are pastels, acrylic and oils and I love...more
