I currently reside in beautiful Northern Virginia but have had the incredible opportunity to travel and live in many different locations. As a photographer with a case of wanderlust, being part of a military family that moves every couple of years suits my nomadic nature. Whether I am traveling, moving or spreading my roots in a new place, I focus my energy and my camera on the goodness of life. The world around us is filled with so many wondrous facets, and I find interest in the whole gamut, from the simple and ordinary to the impressively phenomenal which is why you'll find an eclectic array of images on my website. Photography has been a lifelong passion for me, I caught the bug back in high school, during the the days of film and darkrooms and transitioned as technology progressed, first through a series of DSLR cameras and most recently I have moved on to a mirrorless camera. One of the lessons I've learned from photography is it's a very humbling profession. If you are truly dedicated, you'll discover that the more you learn the more there is to know, and like every other aspect of life, there is always room for improvement and growth!
