My earlier work could be described as informal and intuitive expressionism, where the image was the result of a communication between chance, unconscious and conscious.   Lately, I have been working with fairly small formats, from having worked with monumental sizes before, cutting out uneven canvas pieces, or using leftover cloth scraps and apply everything from ink and charcoal to oil and watercolor.   But I have also learned to enjoy the simplicity of watercolor and paper, which is partly due to lack of study space.   Some artists that continue to inspire are Munch, Turner, Redon, Moreau,...more
