Flowers bring joy and life to a room. With my art, I like to add lushness and a dash of quirkiness to make it truly unique.
My life-long love of beautiful gardens and magnificent blooms at flower markets is portrayed in a variety of settings in my work. It brings me a certain calmness after many frenetic years as a print media designer.
I work mainly in acrylics and oils as the rich textures burst with sensuality and life. I like to add classic motifs such as chinoiserie vases and jugs found in antique stores. My garden also supplies me arrays of blooms such as roses, camellias, orchids and magnolias. Mostly I paint from life, but I love testing my creativity by exploring many other sources.

Studying at the National Art School in Sydney, Waverley Woollahra Art School and Willandra Art Centre nurtured my love of painting which lay quietly to the side until I took up the brushes again to follow my heart to paint full time. In my publishing days, I illustrated a variety of books and magazines as well.
I’m happy to add that my work is sought after by private collectors, who also follow me on Instagram.
