My oil paintings encompass genres of New England Landscape, Still Life, Native American and more. I also make 'Print Renditions' and Photograph my local surroundings in New England. Some of my more major works include a dream like mural oil painting titled 'Changes of the Seasons'. I acquired my BFA at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and also studied the arts at Bennington College, Hartford Art School, Northeastern University, Decordova Museum Art School and studied under other painters whose works I admired. I spent my early years in the Boston area studying and working in the arts. Being a diversified and multi-faceted artist, my employment has encompassed fields of fine arts, photography, teaching, oil painting, design and illustration. I have lived in various towns throughout New England and now reside near the border of Vermont and New Hampshire along the Connecticut River Valley. It is a beautiful area with four seasonal landscapes for subject matter.
I believe that my art is a product of vision, desire and discovery; and that its growth is dependent on challenges, courage and constant vigilance.
