Miriel Smith resides with her husband and two daughters in West Michigan; where she has been developing a portfolio of breastfeeding paintings for several years now.   She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2002.   Early in her career she was known for her commercial and residential mural work.   Upon the birth of her first daughter, breastfeeding became her passion.   This new found enthusiasm shaped the subject matter of her art.   She has entered her work many times in the well-known art competition,...more
