I'm originally from a very small town in Oregon. I grew up surrounded by nature and I love it to this day. I joined the Air Force in 1984 and retired as a Master Sergeant in 2005. Ended up retiring in Illinois just across the river from St. Louis Missouri. Spent almost 10 years of my career in Italy, Germany, and England. I've traveled around Europe and spent some time in Saudi Arabia. With my travels I have seen much and enjoy not only nature but the man made world we have created. I try to find the beauty in everything I see and do the best that I can to reflect that in my photography. I love the St. Louis area and am always looking to find new places to shoot.
Equipment wise I shoot Canon. I have a 7D as my primary camera but also use the EOS M depending on the situation. I use a variety of lenses but am always looking to get more much to my wife's dismay. You can never have enough equipment. I try to never leave home without my camera because you never know what you are going to see.
I am currently working on my degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts at Southern New Hampshire University. I belong to the Audubon Society and a member of many local photography clubs on both sides of the river. I am also a huge Sci Fi fan and love music.
