Melodye is a published illustrator and her work can be found in 'The First Portal' by Spencer Smith; Cover and illustrations for 'Chris Kringle's Cops' by Ellwyn Autumn, in the book 'The Grissum's Tale of Behn Farling' by David D. Her current project is called 'Places I Would Go...' or (painting my bucket list). Some of this latest work is created with highly edited AI backgrounds which are combined with digital and hand-drawn art to produce work in the style of Magic Realism.
Melodye studied oil painting with mentor artist Urban Bird for 6 years, and studied drawing and art therapy at East Tennessee State University. She is self-taught in the mediums of pastel, watercolor and digital art. She has sold many commissioned portraits and book covers.
