I was born in Virginia as the first member of my family to be born in the United States. My parents were from the Netherlands (Holland). I have been in New Mexico since 1988, and count myself as one of many who have been enchanted by the space and colors of New Mexico. My father was an amateur sculptor, and a big influence in my love of art.
