The art of Marlene Watson began many years ago in Rutherglen, Glasgow, Scotland. Observing life, discovering art, committing memories to paper were the cornerstone of her long career. Today, her art records iconic images for all; images that connect to your memories. Towns, cities and buildings that we encounter in life and that hold meaning. Dogs, cats and animals that hold a special place in our heart and memories.
More recently, Marlene has opened her studio to other artists and collaboration both fun and inspiring. She works with individuals that share a similar passion for documenting the unique elements of our world and also that look back at memories of life that are important to maintain. The studio now includes the works of accomplished Canadian artist Catherine McKeating and from Australia, wildlife lover and environmental advocate, Donna Watson-Hall.
The Marlene Watson & Artcrew New Zealand Studio will continue to bring you images of the past and present to help you maintain your memories, surround yourself, family and friends with images that represent who you are and what is important to you. Hopefully, we will also bring a smile to your day.
