Welcome to my art site.   Painting is my passion and I have been at it since I was eight years old, starting with my mom ( who sent me for oil paint lessons from an artist in the Bronx-where I grew up).   One of my very first oils was of two swans!   I later attended Art and Design schools in NYC and upstate New York, earning degrees in Textile Design, Art History and Art Education.   I became a textile designer in New York City, and taught art in Michigan and (still do in) Florida for many years.   I have always loved the basic, simple, stylized shapes found in all...more
